Bring the whole family to Maymont for one of Richmond’s favorite spring traditions! This year’s “eggs-travaganza” is bigger than ever, spreading out from the Carriage House Lawn to The Robins Nature Center and Maymont Farm!

Volunteers are needed to support Maymont's single largest volunteer event, Dominion Energy Family Easter! Bring the whole family for an Easter extravaganza on Saturday, March 30th. Enjoy games, activities and crafts, as well as live entertainment with jugglers and adorable animals, and of course, appearances by the Easter Bunny!

Indigenous Peoples’ Day honors the past, present, and future of Native peoples throughout the US. People have celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Day since 1977. As of 2020, 14 US states and more than 130 cities officially recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day! To celebrate Indigenous People's day, here are a few things you can do: 1. Educate yourself on Indigenous history and culture. 2. Attend a celebration hosted by an Indigenous organization that honors Indigenous people and cultures. 3. Donate to Indigenous-led organizations like the Native American Rights Fund, First Nations Development Institute, or Native American Heritage Association.
