This was supposed to be a promotion for a party boat tour in Aruba, one of the sunniest islands in the Caribbean.

Luckily for me they did not check the weather report so I got away with some really moody shots.

Fun fact: This blue butterfly is so hard to photograph because they very rarely sit down with their wings open.

Only the male ones do when they are ready to mate. So your looking at a h***y butterfly right now, enjoy😃

Did you know that Aruba is the only place in the world where you can find the shoco owl? 🦉 These fascinating birds dig holes into the ground to create their nests, which can be seen right behind the owl in this picture! If you look closely you can even see some sand at the beak, because this little fella just stopped digging. I wonder what motivated evolution to let this cute little creature dig holes into the ground even though they could fly to any tree. With invasive species such as the boa constrictor, this big-brain move did not really work out in their favor. As you explore the island's natural beauty, keep an eye out for these special creatures and their holes.

Proud to share this photo set from a recent adventure 🌊🐠 Although I don't often shoot portraits, I find myself drawn to the idea of capturing more of them in places like these. This hidden natural cave pool, with crystal clear waters and schools of tiny yellow fish with black stripes, was an incredible experience. As soon as you dive down beneath the surface you’re struck with the wonder of this underwater paradise. It's moments like these that remind us of the beauty and awe of the natural world, and the importance of cherishing these moments while we can.

“A clear horizon, nothing to worry about on your plate. Only things that are creative and not destructive.“

The last picture comes pretty close to that definition for me✌🏼

Had to try out this audio on my favorite place in Aruba! For some reason 99% of the tourists don’t drive out to this spot and I hope it stays that way🤝🏼 . .

The sun setting over the sea. What strikes me the most is how something as simple as the sun dipping below the horizon can evoke such wonder and bring so many people together. Not getting to see the ever day anymore reminds me to to appreciate the simplest of things in life and I hope this reel can transport you to this peaceful place too.
