Given the unpredictability of COVID-19 and rising hotspots across the U.S., the CT Defense Mobile Medical Unit could lessen the constraint put on hospitals – and save more lives. Created by @ct.defense and distributed by @elavosupply, this state-of-the-art mobile hospital is a 12-bed mobile ICU that features HEPA filtered climate control, which prevents the spread of infectious diseases.
The unit stands out from the rest due to its advanced sanitization entrance/exit that protects health workers and the community. It has expandable sides that almost doubles the clinic space, which includes a 633-square foot area that is completely isolated. When in transit, the unit is 8ft wide and at full-expansion, it measures 15’9” wide. Equipped with designated hazardous material chutes, a level 4 generator, 212-gallon water tank, and many more features one would expect to see in an ICU, the unit can operate independently or be tied to shore power.

Quantum levitation is a process of levitating superconductor (material that offers no electrical resistance and expels magnetic fields) over a magnetic source (specifically a quantum levitation track designed for this purpose)
Superconductors repel magnetic fields due to the Meissner effect (When a material makes the transition from the normal to superconducting state, it actively excludes magnetic fields from its interior) Near the surface of the superconductor material, small currents flow that make an opposite magnetic field that repels the field from the magnet.
