A DAY OF TOTAL BLACKOUT FOR GHANAIAN WORKERS UNDER A BARREN PRESIDENT AND AN IMPOTENT VEEP.

They have failed! Yes, the name Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is synonymous to absolute failure. He's completely empty with nothing left in him to earn him any further respect in the area of economics. He has given true meaning to the idiomatic expression that, "an empty barrel makes the most noise". He was and still remains only a noise maker with very little knowledge and understanding of realistically practical economics that is needed to impact positively on the lives of the citizenry.
Well, I'm unhappy this morning and same that I seek to express in this piece. It is 1st March today and no government worker except maybe the article 91 office holders have received our already inadequate monthly salaries. I mean February has ended and we have entered a new month yet no one knows when workers on government payroll will be paid. This has never happened as long as I can remember. How can a person who was touted as the economic messiah sink the economy this deep to this extent? And let no sycophant make any funny comparisons between apples and mangoes by bringing John Mahama's name here; I mean it has never happened that the entire government sector has not received salaries at the end of a month. Truth be told, Akufo Addo and his Bawumia has really failed the Ghanaian worker big time.
It is particularly irritating, vexatious and antagonistic that while workers are having sleepless nights over when their pantry salaries will finally be paid, president Akufo Addo is enjoying kingly treats in very expressive rented private jets. Now Arabian Kings don't come near Him when it comes to opulence profligacy! How can you spend millions of Ghana cedis on wasteful escapades and cannot pay your workers, how? This is absurd insensitivity at unforgivable levels. They also now rent private jets for Hon Sarah Adwoa Sarfo and some other MPs as well as sends millions of Ghana Cedis to their inept MPs in the name of lobbying them home to vote on E-levy.
Maybe, we are lucky because Ghanaians are generally slow in letting out their anger in destructive forms.
Meanwhile, we are waiting for our salaries to hit our bank accounts without any further delay.
