I had the pleasure of interviewing Lisa Marie Harris yesterday at her home in San Diego.

Lisa Marie is a force to reckon with; In 2022, she was voted San Diego CFO of the year. What’s more, throughout our conversation, she mentioned the word excellence at least 4-5 times. One thing is certain, if you lead with excellence, you will find yourself in rooms where people will ask themselves, how did he or she get in here.

My word for the remaining days of 2023 and beyond is excellence. Let’s strive for excellence in whatever you decide to do.
