A walk through one of our community gardens presented dahlias in all their glory. This card mix would be a perfect gift for that hard to buy for aunt or grandma!

The many varieties of cherry, apple and plum blossoms have come and gone already, but not before I captured some! I love the pink 'snow' that covers our streets after a windstorm when these are in bloom!

Tulips! 🌷🌷 I love how these flowers come in so many different colors and textures! I planted a bunch of bulbs last fall and was rewarded with a rainbow this spring. ❤🌈

It's been while since I posted, and it's because I have a problem! My problem is that I love being outdoors so much that I don't want to come in from playing and I don't leave myself enough time to edit photos and make cards!! 😄 It's raining tonight, so I tackled some cards after dinner, and will post them as soon as my photoshoot spot dries out!

I love how the patches of Helkebore have sprung up in everyone's gardens! The colors are so regal! I have lots of flower cards ready to package up for Mother's Day gifts!

Easter Lilies, fawn lilies, trout lilies....one of my Mom's favorite flowers! The rain stopped for a brief moment and I got outside to do a photoshoot for this set of cards! Easter and Mother's Day is coming up, do you know someone who would appreciate a set of spring cards?

The blossoms are out everywhere now, as the days get warmer! I found mostly white blossoms the other day, it reminded me of when my daughter used to call them popcorn trees when she was younger!

The Trout Lilies are out! 😍 I have been patiently waiting for my favorite spring flowers to emerge, and while it seems that there are cherry blossoms everywhere, I suffer from and can't get close enough to the blossoms yet!!😅 I snapped some more shots on my way home from work today so stay tuned for a fresh new spring series!

Back in the fall I came across the elfin saddle which was backlit by a setting sun. Even things that we perceive as ugly can be beautiful. I get really excited when I see elfin saddle because it's such a unique looking shroom! The other little cluster of fungi were poking up out of a log near a really big patch of turkey tail!

In the fall while on a hike, I came across this little cluster of mushrooms that someone had pulled out of the ground. I love the contrast of colour and the hue of the leaves behind it.

😁 I'm so excited!!! I ordered a custom stamp from and it came today! I love it!! I designed it, and after 21 attempts at making my handwriting perfect, I sent it off to the professionals to turn into this beautiful stamp for the backs of my cards! 🤩 (this was my first time making a video like this, can you tell??!! 😅)

I took this last weekend when we had a foot of snow. The little flowers are just starting to unravel, and the water droplets make it magical. Now we're back to +10C here in Victoria, spring can continue!

I planted a LOTof bulbs last fall, and I'm really looking forward to seeing them in bloom this spring! I shouldn't have to wait long, the green shoots are already eagerly reaching for the sunshine! I love the stunning colors of tulips!

Spring is around the corner! There's still snow on the ground and it's pretty frosty feeling this morning, but our beautiful island always rewards us with a stunning display of spring flowers that make the rest of Canada envious!
