What started out as a high school student film has developed into a career for Todd — in which he has supported his independent producing with 25 years experience gaining invaluable knowledge of the production process enabling him to become a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America through Studio and Independent features including; 20th Fox: Die Hard 2, In the Line of Fire, The Osterman Weekend, Man With One Red Shoe, L.A. Law, Hooperman Paramount Pictures: Two Jakes, and Star Trek II-The Wrath of Kahn Warner Bros.: Lethal Weapon, Louis & Clark-The Adventures of Superman, Gabriel’s Fire HBO: Blind Justice Viacom: Sabrina: The Teenage Witch, Diagnosis Murder, Little Witches Columbia: I Dream of Jeannie 15 Years Later, T.J. MERRILL ENTERTAINMENT:
2017: The excitement moves forward as I continue to develop and draft a script from a series of novels by Gordon Magee on a dramatic, action adventure based on a real life phenomena. I am motivated and inspired by the energy generated from the projects and the people I have surrounding me. The projects that benefit from this are my feature DETOURS, a Romantic/Comedy/Adventure written by Abbey Cleland and directed by Scott McCullough with an Academy Award winning production designer. We are adding new elements to attract financing and cast. I welcome a new comic to heighten the level of humor for MIXED NUTZ, a comedy series about siblings living on the opposite side of the economic tracks. I am optimistic about my Reality series developed; The WRITER composes songs based on true life stories and situations that allow miracles to exist, with songwriter/singer Michael Curtis, A coming of age comedy, CHANCE OF CLOUDS, a family drama/comedy, adapted from the book, The Cloud Seekers by Robert Calixto, and THAT'S LIFE, a feature based on the life of O.C. Smith, a rising singer battling the corrupt record business. I have plans in working on two projects with writers from Australia as well, a comedy and drama feature. My plate is full, only I am not one to follow any type of diet!!
