Our Story
Fascination Publishing House publishes French and English stories, photographs, art and poetry books.
Founded by French-Canadian author, Marcel Sicard in 2012, Fascination Publishing House published his series of historical novels called, Trop belle pour être heureuse between 2012 and 2017. The first book, La belle Yvette, received a very positive welcome from the Québécois readership community, and with the tremendous help from his wife, Elaine Chalifoux-Sicard, it paved the way for the success of the other books in the series: Le beau Réal, Le bon Emile and Le grand jour.
One month before he passed away in late 2018, Marcel finished his 5th novel called La traverse de Marks, a true-story about a tragedy that shook a small tightly-knit community in Gracefield, Quebec in the 1950s.His daughter, Caroline, continues the work of the publishing house to realize this 5th book and to publish other independent work.
