Although we've had to say goodbye to the traditional squirrel derby, hosted annually by Lynn Holland for more than a decade. We'd like to try a new competition with the same type of prizes, buffet and day drinking with friends. Join us for a chili cook off. Bring your best game and win the title. Food available, door prizes, and 50/50. Enter the contest or just come judge others.

Cato Meridian Youth Wrestling Event at Cato Meridian High School (December 22, 2024)

Kids from the Cato Meridian Youth Wrestling, Baldwinsville Youth Wrestling and Fulton Wrestling took to the mat today at Cato Meridian High School.

We were happy that we had a chance to stop by today.

☃️☃️ DON’T CROWD OUR PLOWS!
Plows have many blind spots and weigh 60 tons when fully loaded - which means they are not quickly maneuverable when there are obstacles in the road.
With that in mind:
❄️Do not follow too closely or pass for your own safety and the safety of our plow drivers.
❄️Keep trash and recycling bins off the road. They obstruct traffic and cause a hazard to our plows and all other vehicles. AND you can be ticketed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Frank and his family.

We are thankful to hear that he made it out of the house and without any injuries.

A loss like this is tragic and heartbreaking no matter the time of the year.

Thank you to all the first responders who braved the cold to respond to the call for help.

I had outdoor plans for tomorrow but since it’s supposed to be a high of 15, cancelled them. Instead, I will have the very warm and cozy farm shop open for any last minute gifts or lamb meat for holiday entertaining.
