Daoism generally, and the Yin-Yang specifically, is about harmony and balance. Things go wrong when we tip the scales too far one way. Daoists are neither ascetics nor bibulous gluttons, as both involve straying from the middle way. The wisdom of the Yin-Yang is to see how a world without light would be hellish but so too would one of constant day. The symbol has proved so powerful because it is a constant reminder to us that life is all about finding that harmony out of opposition. When things feel wrong, we likely need to find our balance or center again.

Daoism is the philosophy that there is a right way to live life, and it involves finding and following the "Dao", or path, to our life.

Music, the word we use in our everyday language, is nothing less than the picture of the Beloved. It is because music is the picture of our Beloved that we love music. But the question is: What is our Beloved, or where is our Beloved? Our Beloved is that which is our source and our goal. What we see of our Beloved before our physical eyes is the beauty which is before us. That part of our Beloved which is not manifest to our eyes is that inner form of beauty of which our Beloved speaks to us. If only we would listen to the voice of all the beauty that attracts us in any form, we would find that in every aspect it tells us that behind all manifestation is the perfect Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom.

The supreme energy that this video highlights, talks about life force, its language; geometry, and its existence as frequency. The video highlights how certain geometric patterns create energy and how life forms are mended through these geometric patterns.

The video questions, how we as civilisation, if didn't adhere to these patterns, we would slowly be the reason for our own extinction.

The short series of films in the project Resonance are works by teams of audio artist and studios paired with visual artist and studios. Based on the idea of matching geometry (SEE) with sound (HEAR) each movie vignette is an abstract experiment of 4D design immersion. Organized by SR Partners, over 30 groups participated.

Pieces are 20 seconds long or less and represent a diverse set of design modelling formulations both in content and aesthetic, with only occasionally representational or natural backgrounds incorporated. Narrative is downplayed in the short pieces, with both organic and geometric kinetic forms often shape shifting, changing scale or context matched with corresponding soundscapes. Sounds are musical and descriptive of the movement, using ambiance techniques to underscore the tone of the visual environment.

Barbara Marciniak writes in her book "Earth: Pleiadian Keys to the Living Library" : “The ancients understood that a simple sound could reorganize the body’s structure. Sounds that are harmonious, activate the body and create healing.” The book also reveals that our ancestors composed harmonious chants and hymns to manipulate the intensity of sound vibrations and their healing capacities. Of the many civilizations that understood the healing nature of sound, one of them was Egypt.

That is why you are listening to this*, because it is your element. Although it has been dimmed by manifestation, your thought, your mind, is made of sound." - Hazrat Inayat Khan.

Since the day I realized the importance of sound in our general lives, I was amazed by finding its presence everywhere, from the rhythm of the breath I took, to the loud noise of a car, to a buzzing fly, and through the silence of my thoughts. I found it in everything where I was told I'd find god.
