Yesterday our team had the privilege of visiting the remarkable market women of Swali and Opolo. The purpose of our visit was to sensitize them about the importance of reelecting His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, and his Prosperity Government. It is noteworthy that Sen. Douye Diri has made significant strides in terms of development, and we took this opportunity to highlight these achievements to the women.
Guided by the esteemed Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Gloria Diri, the First Lady of Bayelsa State, her presence played a prominent role in guiding our discussions and interactions with the women.
The women of Swali and Opolo market showed incredible support and expressed their unwavering commitment to Governor Douye Diri and the People's Democratic Party. They acknowledged the positive impact that Gov. Douye Diri and his administration have brought to the state, including promoting peace, empowering women, facilitating skills acquisition, and carrying out infrastructural development.
Overall, our visit proved to be an insightful and productive experience as we engaged with the women. We encouraged their continued support for Governor Douye Diri and the People's Democratic Party in the upcoming election on the 11th of November, 2023.
