Girls Trip - Day 2

Spent the day at Stadium Swim. Then over to Red Rock Resort for happy hour at Osteria Fiorella. We also checked out Rouge Room and Kallisto Oyster Bar.

Girls Trip - Night One

Southwest flight was half full on the way to Vegas so Eileen and I had the row to ourselves! Met with Sheera and Teck at our hotel (Circa) and explored Fremont - it was Teck’s first time at Fremont Street!

My niece spent her birthday weekend with us and we are so happy to see her. We don’t see her much so last weekend she got her Christmas, birthday and a welcome to San Diego gifts from us 😊 she is such a joy to have around and we miss her already. Don’t grow up too fast, baby girl….we hope to see you again soon!

We dedicated one whole day going up to Road to Hana. Started at Twinfalls where we hiked to see a really cool waterfall. Saw a lot of waterfalls actually. Stopped at Aunty Sandy’s for their famous banana bread and checked Wai’anapanapa State Park.

The Hana Highway is a 64.4-mile-long stretch of Hawaii Routes 36 and 360 which connects Kahului to the town of Hana in east Maui.

It was a little scary driving in that highway but the drive is very scenic and beautiful. We are fortunate to have been given a chance to see it.

Our last day in Maui, we had breakfast at Kihei Cafe. Went to the beach one last time and then we stopped at Ululani’s for some shave ice 😊

It was late at night by the time we got back to San Diego. But we had a great time in Maui and the best time is spending some time with our Ohana ❤️❤️❤️

Never take for granted the time you spend with your family. Make lasting memories you can cherish forever. The most precious gift we can give our loved ones is our time.

‘Iao Valley State Monument is incredibly beautiful! We spent about half a day there. Then we went to Lahaina Front Street and did some shopping. We wrapped up our day with a nice dinner at Lahaina Fish Co.

Ulea Beach during the day where the kids spent some time snorkeling.

It was my sister Eileen’s birthday so we got her a cupcake bouquet before the luau dinner show at Royal Lahaina.

Early morning walk to watch the sunset. We explored Maalaea, Kealia Coastal Boardwalk and Kealia Pond.

It was a nice walk and even enjoyed the sound of the waves at the beach.

Last week, we flew to Maui and spent a few days there. After we got our rental cars, we stopped at a Safeway to grab some snacks and drinks. We stayed in Kihei. Here’s a couple pictures of the condo I stayed at. My sisters each had their own 2-bedroom condo as well.

We had a late flight coming in to Maui so we didn’t get a chance to explore that day.

Sometimes, we need to stop and take a second to appreciate everything around us. Slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

Go outside….take a hike, hang out at the beach, chase that waterfall.

The best thing about having a sister is the fact that you will always have a friend. New Years Eve celebration.

We originally planned on getting together as a whole family last Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. We had a last minute change of plan due to some family members getting sick, so each family ended up celebrating on their own.

Growing up in a big family, I’m used to big gatherings. The past couple years has been challenging and our family get together were limited. I can’t wait for the day I can see my whole family celebrating the holidays, all of us…together.

For the time being, let’s continue to be healthy and enjoy little gatherings. But don’t forget to show your family how much you love and care for them. Make that phone call, send that text message, do a face time call. Let’s all do better this year!

Slept in today since it’s the weekend 😊

Woke up to some business leads and answered some business inquiries even before I got out of up. Leads and inquiries are coming in even when we are sleeping….that’s the power of business automation!!!

We went to Starbucks and Einstein Bros to get breakfast. They even spelled my name correctly this time….I say that’s a win!

It was a fun and relaxing day for sure Glen Ivy Hot Spings. Thanks to one of my sisters for setting up . Facial, mineral bath, mud bath, grotto experience with lunch and hot cocoa/cider is just what we need to recharge.
