New Year • Same Great Tournament!

A little brisk rain couldn’t stop some U.S. Navy veterans from reeling in some walleye! We Had a great day with Julie and Jeremiah, both having served in the US Navy, they were our first married couple of veterans. Thanks you both for your service, and it was a pleasure to share the boat with you!

Today marks another Veteran Trip. We were able to get Robert Harrah out on the water for some walleye!

Robert is an Army veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne! It was a pleasure to share the boat, trade stories, and catch some summertime walleyes!

It’s been quite the morning! Some straight down pours and a lightning storm and the Women are still battling it out! Looks like the weather is about to break and sounds like things are even starting to heat up in a couple livewells!

A severe storm has developed running right down the lake in our fishing area! Please be safe and use caution. You are allowed to beach (no penalty) during the storm. 8:45-9:45AM looks to be the worst.

If you do not hear the firework for the start, DO not leave. We plan on leaving as scheduled but please be attentive.

Dinner/Registration - 5:30pm

Tomorrow kicks off 2023 Women on Water! We are going to answer some recent questions and put some reminders below!

1.) Dinner will be available at rules meeting! This was graciously donated/served by Walt’s Market, Derma Rescue, and Gate City Bank. The food is free, but you will see a box at the end with Free-Will Donation. This is a direct donation to FOTW and will allow us to continue serving veterans in our community. Donations are not required but appreciated! 🇺🇸

2.) You may travel to tournament via water. Your boat will still be inspected upon arriving at White Earth Bay. We NEED to know if you plan on doing this at registration!

3.) This is a Catch/Keep tournament. We will not be filleting or accepting any fish at weigh in, it is your responsibility to handle your fish after weigh in.

4.) You can still get into the Big Walleye Pot at rules meeting! $20 is all it takes!

5.) There will be entertainment in the pavilion after the tournament! We invite you all to come and have a good time after weigh ins!

6.) White Earth Bay, North Dakota Bait Shop has about anything you need, except alcohol, so make sure you byob!

7.) HAVE FUN! We are super grateful to be running this tournament and without all of your support we couldn’t do it! Respect your neighbors, your fellow anglers, and let’s have a great weekend!

Due to the construction taking place at white earth entrance road. We have decided to move the flight times! Please obey all traffic signs and be vigilant of construction vehicles and workers. Construction company stated that they start the one-way traffic at approx 7-7:30am, please plan accordingly!

Flight 1 - 7AM-3PM
Flight 2 - 8AM-4PM
