Here’s some styling I put together at .store
I started with the Lavenham Quilt Liner Jacket in olive—expertly made in England and rooted in the military history of liner jackets. Its classic quilting, inspired by Lavenham’s original horse rugs, makes it a standout for the autumn/winter season. This jacket is lightweight yet warm, perfect for layering, and moves easily between casual and more refined looks. The boxy fit, stepped hem, ribbed cuffs, and practical details like press studs and patch pockets give it a modern, functional edge.
For the base, I went with the Sugar Cane 1955z Model Straight Leg Selvedge Denim Jeans in One Wash Indigo. These are a brilliant take on the 1955 Levi’s 501 model, featuring a straight leg, a fuller rise, and the iconic zip fly that was a game-changer for the East Coast market. Made from custom-spun Japanese denim woven with Zimbabwe cotton, they’ve got great character, with hidden back pocket rivets for added authenticity.
Both pieces are easy to wear and work together seamlessly for a mix of practicality and style—find them now at Auteur Store.
