This beautiful boy is up for adoption. ............
Gizmo is a 10 year old shihtzu. Wonderful with children, cats, dogs, and people.
His dream home would be somewhere with someone who works from home with children who know how to be gentle with smaller breeds. Someone who will give him lots of pets and let him sleep with them at night. A yard to be able to roll in the grass in, and a person or family to walk him daily.
He is not destructive and has been left alone with no issues at home. Gizmo sleeps under his foster moms/kids desks while they do their remote work/learning. His favorite bed is a beanbag chair that he took over from his foster kids, but he's not picky and will make anything his bed.
His favorite people are his foster kids so a home with children who can help with his care is ideal.
Shihtzu's are lovely breeds that require grooming every 4-6 weeks. His current groomers love him and say he's a wonderful boy to groom. He does have skin issues and requires bi-weekly washing in order to keep his skin clear and keep issues away. Currently he is washed in the bathtub between grooming's and he is wonderful for it all!
Gizmo must remain on gluten free food. He is currently getting an Omega-3+Hemp oil pump and various veggies/fruit with his kibble. He loves almost all veggies/fruits but his favorites are red peppers, carrots, and blueberries. We have found this diet to work wonders for his skin and he needs to continue the diet to avoid future skin problems.
Gizmo is up-to-date on his shots, neutered, and heartworm tested.
