I've had a lot of down time lately with my back issues, so when I could I took advantage of my hours of having to just sit.
These pics are for a video I'm working on for my
"Adventures With Dice" YouTube channel.
This upcoming video will show the modular dungeon system I designed, built and painted, combined with an Ultimate Dungeon Terrain board to create a play area that can quickly change from scene to scene as needed for my games.

I've made some mods to the module to turn it into a mini-campaign but nothing as long as CoS.

Yep. This is happening.
I decided to use my UDT (Ultimate Dungeon Terrain) board in tonight's DCC game.
It was a hit and my players wrapped up Sailors On The Starless Sea with only 1 character death!
While I'm stuck with this downtime I finished my 2 sided UDT (Ultimate Dungeon Terrain) (inspired by Dungeon Professor at Dungeon Craft)
It's designed for "Zone Combat" as opposed to "Grid Combat".
One side is for dungeons and castles and the other is for wilderness encounters.
While I have this downtime... I'm slowly working on a new piece of UDT (Ultimate Dungeon Terrain).
Inspired by Professor Dungeon Master.
The rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated...
I was in the hospital this week with my back, but I'm home and resting and planning work on more videos for y'all!
Got some great videos lined up. More DCC, GM Tips and Deathbringer!
Now if my back will ease up enough for me to shoot the vids...

Game Time!
So I mentioned on a couple of videos that I just received a gaming collection from a dear friend of mine that honestly made me an offer I simply couldn't refuse.
It's mostly DCC and Star Trek Adventures.
But good Lord what a haul. Not only is this going to provide more gaming for my group than I will ever be able to run, but likely more content for the channel than I will ever need!

I got this idea from DM James and The Dungeon Professor.
Combat Areas... I find that 90% of the combats I run don't need a full map on the table.
The action seems to always take place in a 1' area.
So I made these two "Combat Areas" out of blue insulation board and painted them up.
I think they look great and take up way less space on the game table than a battle map.
I still have my battle maps if I need to run a big fight on game night but for most encounters the players just want to close with the bad guys and know where the exits are.
If you use miniatures in your role-playing games I encourage you to try something like this out as it will save you time and space on the table.
If you use miniatures for D&D, Pathfinder, White Box, Basic Fantasy, DCC or pretty much any other fantasy RPG these are amazing and look great!

We got to play our White Box (OSR D&D clone) last night.
Our son was on video from Korea playing with us and we had a blast!
The heroes defeated the Orc Boss and his goons and saved the merchant's daughters!
I'm restoring/rebuilding a copy of HeroQuest from 1989.
I reprinted all the models to the game with my 3D Printer. The originals (the few I had) have been put into storage.
I now have all the monsters painted, two thirds of the miniature furniture painted. Have to finish the furniture and Hero models... Then all that's left are the Doors.
Working on final preparations for tonight's RIFTS Chaos Earth game!
