I tried a FOOT MASK...🦶

Grabbed this one from Soft Touch off of Amazon, because I wanted to see what this was all about. And honestly, I was kinda curious to see how gross my feet were and how soft I could get them.

It says that you will have the skin on your feet start peeling off (yuck! but kinda cool) in 7-14 days. Within 3 days my feet looked like the last picture and the skin was pretty much falling off.

This seems to have only affected the top layer of skin and I didn't notice much difference between the top layer and what was freshly exposed.

I had read reviews on some foot masks that it will also eat away at your nail polish, so I made sure to leave my polish on my toenails for the whole thing.. I didn't notice it eating away at my polish any faster than they would normall chip off.

TBH- I don't know if I would do this again unless I am spending a lot of time barefoot and have gotten a bunch of calluses. With my feet speding 99% of the day in shoes and socks (doctors orders), I feel my feet were in pretty soft condition to start.

💅 I have spent two nights trying to learn how to do gel nails and each day at least one of the nails has broken.

I’m at a loss as to why— other than bad drivers causing me to slam on my brakes. Tried to save my lunchbox and broke this baby. Ironic that it’s the middle finger though! 😇

The last time I went to the salon, I got my hair bleached.

I've dyed my hair a few times on my own since, but since I hadn't been blonde in ages, I asked for recommendations on purple shampoo/ conditioners.

She reccomended Joico. Now, I don't have anything aginst her reccomendation, it just didn't work for my hair.

Having damaged my hair from bleaching (I went from dark brown to blonde in one go), it wasn't moisturizing enough as a conditioner. I also didn't notice much color difference before and after using it.

And after I've babbled on for 10 more minutes..

I found Purple Toning Drops that work with any shampoo or conditioner. WOOT!

I started adding about 5 drops to my conditioner once a week and I noticed substantial brass reduction in my hair after each use. It's also great because you can add as much or as few drops as you want or need for your desired hair color.

Word to the Wise: these drops are still toner and still cause damage to your hair, so don't use it too often or without a really good conditioner/moisturizer for damaged hair.

Have you ever found a cleanser that works better than some of the more expensive brands?

I recently tried the Cetaphil Oil Absorbing Foam Cleanser and found myself sorely disappointed. I ended up going back to an old trust cleanser- Clean & Clear morning burst because it made my skin feel cleaner.

Ever since I bleached my hair I have been looking for something to help "repair" it.

❌It feels like crap
❌It's frizzy
❌It looks dry

I found out that coconut oil🥥 is one oil that can actually pe*****te into the hair strand and help to create a moisture barrier in damaged hair to seal in moisture.

Would you do you own acrylics at home?

This was my first attempt at doing acrylic nails at home.

It tools me about 20 minutes to do the nails 💅and another 1.5 hours of sanding and filing to get them presentable. 😳

But I’m super proud of myself for trying it.

Def something I’m going to keep up with.

Influenster and Simple sent me these wipes in exchange for my honest review and honestly- they're pretty good. They make taking off my makeup at night quick and easy.
