🗣Episode #1 - Slightly Salty Podcast

WARNING: Beware of People Speaking from a Place of Privilege or Pain!

Loooooooook...y'all really don't know the struggle huh. I swear every single thing was determined to go wrong, but I made it here eventually!

I didn't announce anything as I really wasn't sure how my week would go. I was recovering from acute (wasn't cute though 😏) sinusitis AND laryngitis (as someone asked, who even gets laryngitis anymore??!!!). Last week I literally could not talk, but with the meds from the doc etc I was hoping to be in fine form by today, as I'd set it in my mind as the launch date, to launch at 7pm. This was even though I knew I was still far from ready in terms of equipment and so on.

Then as soon as I went to record, the proper camera that was showing a full battery all along decided NOPE, so I had to resort to a phone camera...and trust me, it's a duncy "smartphone," so the video "quality" was just grand 🫡. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a stickler for quality and standards, so this whole podcast journey has been quite the trip, and has continued to force me to let go of a lot of my perfectionist traits, but that part is the same as I would encourage anyone to do, so hey.

I hope you come along for the ride, and watch the progression to what and where I would love this podcast to be!
