The Beijing Museum of Natural History is the first Chinese museum to display specimens, information and documents related to natural science. Topics include zoology, botany and some science-related issues. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe hundreds of fossils of mammals as well as many other wildlife. There are several galleries for visitors to visit such as the photo gallery or the animal gallery.

Shanghai Museum is an ancient Chinese art museum. It is located on People's Square. The museum was founded in 1952 and opened for the first time to the public in the house of the old Shanghai Racecourse club. The building was rebuilt in a new location since 1996. It is considered one of China's first world-class modern museums.
