Sin of omission-A sin of omission arises when a believer neglects or deliberately refuses to do what they ought to do according to God's revelation to them.God reveals things to us through the Bible or spiritual gifts such as word of wisdom.often times,believers stay away from kingdom activities in the name of having or enjoying a quiet and peaceful Christian life.what they do not understand is that this is actually a sin.Every believer is mandated to serve in the body of christ according to the gifts that God has bestowed upon their lives.Gifts are for the benefit of others. James 4:17 states that'' whenever you decide not to do what you ought to do,it is sin for you''.Be encouraged to identify your own God-given purpose and assignment and begin to live in that line

It's a demonstration of love towards others.when you serve others,you serve christ.unlike in the corporate world,when you are given an opportunity to lead or serve in the body of Christ,you should demote yourself to a servant.Mathew 20:26 states that ''if one of you wants to be great, he must be a servant of the rest and if one of you wants to be first,he must be your slave like the son of man who did not come to be served but to serve''.let love and humility lead as we continue to serve as God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.Christ says '''whoever serves me will be honoured by my Father''.church is a servant organisation and let us continue to serve others according to our areas of gifting
