The only thing worse than nature is being out in it.
And the only thing worse than that is when the nature is haunted.

Why do people keep going into creepy ass forests all lalala like they’re getting ready to stroll through fu***ng Disneyland??

Today Shannon and I take the only possible safe stroll through the woods there is, through the comfort of our air conditioned homes and via the internets.

We travel to Romania, which is somewhere over there ->, and I tell her the story of the Hoia Bachiu forest, the most haunted forest…maybe not ever but ever over there ->!

For extra fun interaction, keep track of all the different ways Shannon completely f***s up the name of the forest through the entire episode and share your favorites with us, with each other, with random strangers in the aisles of Walgreens, or whoever you can get to listen to you!!

Let’s face it. Being a Midwestern latchkey kid in the 80s and 90s could be pretty boring sometimes. So we used to “conjure” up really bizarre ways to entertain ourselves.

Like summoning demons or evil spirits! That’s always fun!

Or setting toilet paper on fire and throwing it into the bathtub to watch it burn!!

I was a weird kid. Don’t do that.

It’s a goddamn polar bear!!
Gifted to blah blah by the King of Norway, the King at the time instructed his guards to take the polar bear to the river by the Tower and let it swim and catch fish.
How many guards did this bear kill? Because polar bears are terrifying.
So people have seen this ghost bear in the tower! Can you even imagine seeing a ghost, then it’s a ghost of a bear, and not only a bear but the scariest bear of all bears??

Besides the young princes and Anne, Margaret Pole is probably the one most people are familiar with.
Not her life exactly, but her death.
This woman refused to kneel down and just let them cut her head off. So as soon as they got her on the scaffold, she ran. Like any awesome bitch, she made that as***le work for it.
And he hacked at her while she ran, and... guys it was fu***ng gross.

King Henry VI....oh boy....
So his kingly track record is interesting: he was the youngest English King to be crowned (before he was a year old) and he’s also the only English king to have lost his entire kingdom.

His hobbies include not making good decisions and also going into long term catatonic-like states after he makes those bad decisions.

He was killed in the Tower allegedly while praying and his ghost like to appear on the anniversary of his death pacing and muttering and being pi**ed that he was offed. Can’t blame him.
