So, I’m building a list, a list of really really talented and super enthusiastic people who would like to help create micro, short and shorty features. Preferably students who have studied or are studying film (or English for screenwriters), and are keen to work with me to tell unique and darkly humorous stories. Always a limited budget (often can only cover expenses and tasty catering), but you never know - if funding comes my way, a straight split will be in order.

And that's a wrap!
I couldn't have done it without you all and your generous support.
Everything went so smoothly (mostly)- all of the students with me had a blast and the actors were superb.
I'm having a week off now and then it's on to editing and sound. I hope to have Molly ready to be unveiled to the world in May or June of this year.

Happy Monday everybody - we made it

Well we are now 108% of our target with over £1600 raised. I can't believe it. Thank you to everyone for believing in this project. We are a group of hardworking student film makers who are trying really really hard to make a great Award Winning film and with your help we will.

So now to the very boring bit....

This week. INSURANCE. - yuk. The kit hire company in Bristol called VISUAL Impact have kindly donated all of the hire kit. Well I won it as a film prize actually for my film, BETH - the replacement cost of the kit is so high that they insisted on insurance (can't blame them). So expensive - plus we needed to get insurance for our trip to the beach in Sandsend (where the film ends) - We have two healthy teenagers braving the north sea weather.

We start to film on Saturday 11 February - but the real pressure starts today .

I'll update you with more next week.

PS we have 5 more tickets left to purchase for the Ilkley Premiere sometime in may or June if anybody is keen.

I want to thank everyone who has supported my journey with Molly. 83% Funded/£1245 raised.
We are now fully cast and ready for our filming dates in February. This week my focus is costume - I'm heading to Leeds Playhouse Costume hire to get some cool 1980's gear - lot's of viscose for the older actors - no glitz I'm afraid. The hire budget is £150 - so if anyone out there is an 80's lover then please do consider even the smallest of pledges to support 'Whatever Happened to Molly Doyle's Cow?' We want to make this the best (and funniest) work of art possible!
Plenty of choice rewards for your pledges:
-Attend the premier £20
-Get a private method acting coaching session £30
-Have a 3 minute showreel made £75
Or just pledge £10 to feed a crew member. - every penny counts. Thank you everyone.

Thank you so very much :)
Meanwhile...I'm working all hours at Costa Drive through in Harrogate to fund this so come say 'hello'!

UPDATE*UPDATE*UPDATE

Oh boy - overnight we've smashed through the £1000 mark on the crowdfunding for my next film. Thank you very much everybody. We do have a couple of NEW perks to purchase
1) a one-to-one method acting session (one hour) with Bryan Bounds, Founder of the Neuroacting system for just £30.

2) Anyone need a scene for their showreel or a monologue for their drama school audition? Well I'll help you score the script and block it, then direct you and film it - I'll even edit it. I rarely do this, so for just £75, it's a bargain - and it will be an excellent piece of work - I promise (only 2 available).
Or if you would just like to donate, or get your name on the credits - you're most welcome!
I'll keep you all updated - thank you, Ava x
