Emirates Airlines reports its most profitable year ever with a profit of US$ 2.9 billion compared with a US$ 1.1 billion loss in the previous year. Revenue was up 81% to US$ 29.3 billion, and airline capacity increased by 32% to 48.2 billion ATKMs.

The Type 054A/P is one of the latest multi-role FFGs, equipped with the state-of-the-art weapons and sensors that include CM-302 surface-to-surface missiles & LY-80 SAM as well as an Advanced ASW suite and CMS, enabling ships of this class to operate under multi-threat scenarios.

Pakistan 🇵🇰 Navy has commissioned the last 2 Type 054A/P (Tughril Class) FFGs into the fleet. The commissioning ceremony of PNS TIPU SULTAN (F-263) & PNS SHAH JAHAN (F-264) was held in Shanghai, with Pakistan 🇵🇰 Naval Chief, Admiral M Ajmad Khan Niazi, as the Chief Guest.

The simultaneous commissioning of the two 4,000 tonne warships marks a rare & momentous occasion for the Pakistan 🇵🇰 Navy. This also wraps up the four-ship deal that was signed with China 🇨🇳 in 2018.

The first ship of this class, the PNS TUGHRIL (F-261), was inducted into the Pakistan Navy in December 2021, and the second ship, the PNS TAIMUR (F-262), was inducted in June 2022.

The Type 054A/P is one of the latest multi-role FFGs, equipped with the state-of-the-art weapons and sensors that include CM-302 surface-to-surface missiles & LY-80 SAM as well as an Advanced ASW suite and CMS, enabling ships of this class to operate under multi-threat scenarios.

An Indian 🇮🇳 Air Force MiG-21 aircraft has crashed near Suratgarh during a routine training sortie today morning. The pilot ejected safely, sustaining minor injuries. An inquiry has been constituted by the IAF to ascertain the cause of the accident.

The Iraqi 🇮🇶 Air Force has officially inducted the first batch of 4 PAC MFI-17 Super Mushshak aircraft on the occasion of 92nd anniversary of founding of the IAF 🇮🇶. The ceremony was also attended by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Baber Sidhu, Pakistan's 🇵🇰 Chief of Air Staff.

The Royal Thai 🇹🇭 Navy has commissioned the Chinese 🇨🇳 built Type 071E Landing Platform Dock (LPD), HTMS Chang (792), into its fleet on April 25, 2023, in Chuk Samet Port, Sattahip Naval Base.

The ship is 213 meters long and 28 meters wide, with a displacement of over 20,000 tonnes, and can carry 60 armored fighting vehicles and 800 troops. The ship can reach a top speed of 25 knots with a range of 10,000 nautical miles at a speed of 18 knots.
