Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukraine president, said that he plans to meet China's leader Xi Jinping to discuss Beijing's proposals on ending the war in Ukraine. He added that he hopes that China will not supply weapons to Russia.

Though the proposal did not necessarily support Russia's withdrawal of its troops from Ukraine. Instead, it criticizes the usage of "unilateral sanctions", which is seen as a veiled attack of Ukraine's allies in the West.

Meanwhile Russia applauded the Chinese peace proposals.

During Katherine Scafide's time as a forensic nurse for 8 years, she noticed that it was hard to see the injuries of the black and brown skinned sexual assault and domestic violence victims.

This often interfered with medical records which are highly depended on as evidence for criminals investigators.

This was quite unfortunate because the lighting used limited medics from seeing bruises clearly and this happened particularly on brown and dark women. Therefore, this restricted their ability to register and document accurately on medical reports.

Scafide together with her team discovered that the purple or the blue light is approximately five times effective at detecting bruises on these patients.

Of course the pandemic and the obstructed supply chain in 2020 and 2021 were the main factors that contributed to the escalation of prices by businesses.

Not to mention that the Russian-Ukrainian war put ascending pressure on commodities such as petrol and food prices.

While these two global factors are the known reason for hiked inflation rates, high domestic demand gives businesses the opportunity to catapult prices without consequences, i.e. low sales in Australia.

This is disadvantageous to households that are on low income as little consideration is given to them.

New Mexico Tech scientists designed a couple of test drones using stuffed dead birds.

Their primary objective will be to monitor wildlife with minimal disruption and spy on humans.

However, in accordance with the Astronautics SciTech Forum and the American Institute of Aeronautics, the birdlike drones can glide and hover but can't quite pass for real birds due to their unnatural movements.

The researchers are working on greater wing articulation, that way the drones could make it into the wild. There are plans to add legs into the drones so as to enable perching and save on battery while they spy.
