it's been a while... Progress on the gcr is going really well at the moment, with the most of the general scenery between Loughborough & Rothley complete. Along with a start on the Mountsorrel Heritage Centre.

progress on the GCR is slow at current, we're lacking reference for certain areas... But! I do have some good news...

We've heard off of Steam Sounds Supreme that the NNR is quite close to completion now! Not much at all left to do. So we should be expecting it to be going to our testers in tbe near future...

Weekly update time!

So, the GCR is progressing really well, at current I am primarily focusing on Quorn Yard, however I'm considering moving onto rothley whilst awaiting some custom assets off of James of the WAGN project...

Hi all, sorry progress on the GCR went quiet for a while. I've been really busy!
So tonight I've spent an hour or so working around quorn, making the butler Henderson cafe, and detailing the yard.

But, in free time I have between work and other things in life...
Namely progressing on my fireman training at the Embsay and bolton abbey railway (photo credits Dec Hargreaves)

Loughborough update plus a new reskin announcement...
So, Loughborough itself is almost complete, the yard clutter assets are curtsy of Y2RBently and will be included in the route, however a link will be provided at the end of the post as to where you can get them id you wish to have them today.

And a reskin pack of class 40s... more of an update really, with compatibility with the peppercorn workshops headboard pack.

sort of GCR related, sort of not.

Yesterday I got approached by a friend of mine asking for an update for the textures of the just trains 5mt... so I quickly knocked these 2 out... Now bare in mind they're still very work in progress but they may be something that's coming to SLS soon!

Well it's time for another update... Track swapping is in progress, hense the mix of track type currently... Loughborough area is basically done, and most of the near scenery between Loughborough and Kinchley Lane road bridge is complete...
We're really happy with the progress on the route, and the feedback we have gotten is a real motivation boost!

an update on the GC...

So, oliver has been ramping on with progress on the GCR, primarily focusing around probably the best known photography spot on the entire line, Kinchley Lane. just outside of Quorn.

So, we thought, why not compare it to the original Steam Sounds Supreme one...

I think you'll all agree this is looking absolutely brilliant! And we can't wait to share it with you all.

Just a reminder, this route is made from the ground up, and isn't a revamp of the SSS one. 😁

Somethings erupting...

As all of you know, we worked closely with Wandering 1500 on the North Norfolk Railway project... Which is now complete and just awaiting scenarios & quick drive to be finalised before release...

Therefor, we're pleased to announce our next project with W1500... a completley new Great Central Railway, something that has been needed for quite a while now... Keep an eye out on here & Steam Sounds Supreme for updates...

For now it's very early progress, with almost all scenery complete between Loughborough and Quorn & Woodhouse, however we don't plan for this to take anywhere near as long as the NNR as there's a lot of cards that thankfully won't have to be played for this route... Keep your eyes peeled for more updates!
