Election results now at 97% complete.πŸš€πŸš€
ANC settling at 40%πŸ’šπŸ–€πŸ’›

Some of the key implications of the results that are NON Governmental but may affect ordinary individuals.

Procedurement and Corruption:
If you work in procurement within a state entity and have been issuing tenders to friends as a source of extra income, you may need to find alternative sources of income, as the ANC's diminished power might reduce opportunities for such practices.

Personal Relationships:
If you're in a relationship with a married ANC politician and rely on financial support from them, especially if you are expecting a child, you should consider seeking employment or be prepared for a possible reduction in financial support.

Networking and Connections:
ANC members should leverage their relationships outside the government and within other parties. These connections could provide business opportunities, jobs, or other forms of support in the face of reduced political influence.

Job Security:
For the 70 ANC members who might not return to Parliament, it's crucial to develop a backup plan immediately, as their political careers may be at risk.

Loss of Patronage Networks:
With the ANC losing power, the patronage networks that many individuals rely on for financial benefits and job security may dissolve. This will affect those who have been securing contracts, jobs, and favors through political connections.

Impact on Lifestyle:
For those who have enjoyed a higher standard of living through corrupt gains, there may be a significant lifestyle downgrade. This could include selling off assets, reducing expenses, and facing financial hardships.

SEATS REDUCTION :
Current seats - 2019 230
Less: This year- 2024 (40% x400) (160)
=Total Seats Reduction 70

Annual Salary for a Regular MP is R 1 207 233 (2023)

The total annual salary for 70 MPs would be:

70Γ—R1,207,233= R 84 506 310 per year

Projected 5 year loss without salary increases:

R84 506 310 x 5 = R422 531 550

This is just salary losses alone, excludes any salary increases, allowance and Senior MP positions salaries. Just nje normal MP's.😭😭😭

This also excludes reduction in Party Budget Allocation which is Based on the number of Seats which could later affect operations. 🀷🀷

I really feel for the ANC, Historic Giant Seeing Flames due to corruption and poor governance. 😭😭😭

It’s a reminder of the accountability that political parties must uphold to retain public trust and support.

Corruption and poor governance showing ANC flames, Majority Gone 🀷🀷

EFF border Policy showing them flames, Malema's decision to adopt this policy likely stems from his broader political vision, but it's clear that it hasn't been well received by many South Africans. 🀦🀦

Jacob Zuma is SA politics , Politics are JZ, in less than six months nje took over KZN legislation and bypass EFF.

I feel for the ANC, after its historic struggle for democracy, has allowed greed and corruption to undermine its achievements.

This is a reminder that political parties must remain true to their principles and accountable to the people they serve.

This situation serves as a crucial lesson for the ANC not to take the people's support for granted and to prioritize integrity and good governance.

Relocating overseas is a long-term project, often taking more than 2 to 3 years to see significant benefits, especially if your goal is capital gains.

Accountants might treat it as a capital project, where you invest time and resources now, expecting future returns.

Not everyone's journey is the same; some might achieve success quickly, while others need to adapt and align their skills with local economic demands.

For instance, some individuals might start as teachers and later move into executive roles, while others may find contentment in their initial positions.

Sometimes, you might need to go back to school to meet industry requirements. This can be challenging, especially if your original plan was to work rather than study.

However, if your goal is capital gains, you should treat it like a capital project and be prepared for such adjustments.

Avoid comparing your journey to others; everyone's reasons and paths differ. Some might be in it for a short stay, influenced by their specific objectives and goals.

Focus on your own journey and objectives, and pursue them diligently.

Interest Amortization, this how the banks calculate your loan interest and balance on your Car, personal and home loan.πŸš€πŸš€πŸš€

Previous carrying amount
Plus : Interest Expense
Less: Repayment
= New Carrying Amount

So if you took a loan for R300 000 to get yourself a car or do home renovations or nje wenza umtshato🫣🫣.

Bank gave you 13% interest rate per annum and 5 year repayment plan.

This is how you would use this sechuule.

Where:

Principal Amount 300 000
Monthly interest rate ( annual rate/12). 0.010833
Number of Months (5 years x12) 60
Principal Repayment (installments). 6826.31

Amortization Schedule:

First Month:

Initial Carrying Amount: 300,000
Interest for the Month:
300,000 * 0.010833=3,249.90
Principal Repayment:
6,826.31 - 3,249.90 =3,576.41
New Carrying Amount:
300,000 - 3,576.41= 296,423.59

Second Month:

Carrying Amount: 296,423.59
Interest for the Month:
296,423.59 *0.010833=3,207.44
Principal Repayment:
6,826.31 - 3,207.44 = 3,618.87
New Carrying Amount:
296,423.59 - 3,618.87 = 292,804.72

Note the following :

Installment amount of 6826,26 remain constant kuzo zonke inyanga, this is the amount that will be deducted from your bank account every month, assuming you won't miss any installments.

Loan Repayments is the portion of the principal amount reduction after you paid your installment , in other words xa ubhatala month end, imali yakho iqale iyobhatala inzala before iyobhala inkuzi🫣🫣
So the amount remaining after interest payment of 3576.41. Yiyo qa eyobhala inkuzi kula 6826,31 wena uyibhatale kula Nyanga yokuqala, enye ityiwe interest.

The next month interest is calculated on carrying amount of the previous month, so if you missed installment that means you'll be paying interest on interest. As the previous carrying amount becomes the current month carrying amount. DONT miss installment 🀷🀷

If you MISSED installment, then this what happens :

This month month INSTALLMENT of 6826,31 will be brought forward to the following month and you be charged additional interest on it.

So come following month izafike ulindwe installment yalanga iphelileyo plus this month installment plus the new additional interest.

Zithathwa xa kulapha imoto, ngoba ngoku ivele ibeninzi iphinde yongezeleke up to 3 months, salary yona oko imile kulandawo inye ngapha nezinye ingxaki zakho azimanga.

If unalo Lumpsum or Deposit , maybe bonus and you can pay the carrying amount then do so, it will save you alot of interest . You don't gain anything from paying interest🀷🀷🀷

So if you feel you don't trust your bank carrying amount which is ityala lakho maybe you feel kudala ubhatala and alihli , you can use this schedule ufake zonke installment zakho ozibhateleyo and ask them to send you carrying amount of your loan and reconcile it with your schedule. Follow up on any discrepancies.

Please use this to the best of your ability, if you can unpack this uyicacisele omnye umntu noba ngu Malume wakho yenza njalo. πŸš€

Skelem Masiyiphinde

Interest kuhamba kwexesha, once unje uve igama elithi interest, wena khawuleza ucinge ixesha.

So xa uTa Mthura esithi kuwe take this Car or TV and only start paying end of July 2024.

Ukusukela ngoku, which 27 May to 31 July, kukuhamba kwe xesha oko, it's the passing of timeπŸ‘Š

Into Ta Mthura akuxelela yona is that you'll only start paying End Of July but he doesn't mention ukuba you'll be liable for the passing of time between May and July, that's called "Interest "

Akhatsho kuwe Ukuba uzakubhatala ixesha and it will be calculated on the carrying amount of the loan or debt overtime.

Interest = Loan carrying amount x Interest rate x Time

So as of 27 May ngoku uthatha la moto, Interest iyaqala ubala ngoba kalok imoto ingakuwe and ixesha liyahamba. Interest accrues over time. Interest ayizolinda lonto ka 31 July.

The interest between May to July will be added to the loan principle amount to get to a new carrying amount.

So if the loan was R100 and you accrued interest of R10, it will be added to give you new debt of R110.

You'll now be charged interest based on R110 which is NOW your new carrying amount after adding interest and not the Intial loan amount of R100.

Remember, between May and July. You were not making any payments which means only interest was added on the debt and Zero payment reductions. 🀦🀦

I hope niyibambile le piece.

There's you and there's SARS, you work and generate earnings and SARS needs a portion of those earnings as a contribution to the country's financial needs, they call them Taxes. πŸ™„πŸ™„

Now SARS issues guidelines of what you need pay out of your earnings based on your income for a certain period of time. You will continue making preliminary payments during the tax year ( Monthly or quarterly)

At the end of the period, SARS then provides you with the actual tax liability that you owe the country and then you can reconcile that agaist your estimates and what you've already paid SARS.

The difference is what you owe SARS or what they owe you. They call it TAX Return.🀷🀷

I urge you to support all small businesses within your communities so they can be able to file for these tax ReturnsπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘Š

Without filing for Tax, it means No Tax Clearance, without Tax Clearance it's means you can't get big contracts, let's help our people get those tendersπŸ‘Š

Balance Sheet/ Statement of Position

Assets = Liabilities + Equity

Assets = (Fanancial Resources):

These are the resources that help us operate and generate revenue. Examples are your delivery truck, equipment, buildings and cash.

Liabilities and Equity (Capital Structure):

This is were we get money to fund our financial Resources. It's either we make debt or raise our own capital out of pocket or issuance of common stock for JSE listed companies .

I feel certain things just need to be simplified for an ordinary person to understand nje, I don't see why we need to complicate people lives unnecessary 🀷🀷
