in an off-brand plot twist, i was so overwhelmed (with joy) when my photos came back that i didn’t know where to begin with posting about the most magical day of my life. so bare with me as i finally get to it all. here goes…

throughout my fifteen months of wedding planning, everyone told me “don’t sweat the small stuff,” and “the details don’t matter.” but in my mind, the details were the most special part, because they were the way to make this “Ilana and Jake’s” wedding instead of just “a wedding.”

from the four sets of cocktail napkins with some of our favorite dates listed on them, to the matchbooks designed after my parents’ wedding matchbooks, to barkely taking a bite out of the cake and hiding in our signature cocktails, to getting married in Jake’s nana’s ring and my grandpa’s ring, to our wedding perfume & cologne, our custom vow books, and more, the details will always be what made our wedding, our wedding.

Your girl finally did a public speaking thing without being nervous!!!!!! Took years to get here, but we did it!!!

My first was truly such an amazing experience. I connected with so many inspiring people in the podcast space, learned so much, and felt a spark reignited. I left with so many new ideas I can’t wait to implement into the SOP orbit.

Best part was getting to hang with the amazing .nation team. They are the best in the business and I feel so lucky to get to work alongside them 🩵
