All of these milestones started with one date. Some of them started with taking time off of the apps. Others started with leaving a relationship that wasnât serving them, or getting their heart broken by someone who couldnât give them the love they deserved.

If you donât want to see someone again, THATâS FINE! But please let them know. Itâs the right thing to do. Weâve all suffered through the agony of not knowing, and getting a no, while it stings at first, is always followed by a sigh of relief. Knowledge is power, and once you know, you can start to move on.
& if you get that text, it sucks, I know. But it doesnât mean that youâre not good enough or that you wonât find your person. It just means that this person wasnât the one, and THATâS OKAY. Remember, you arenât going to like and be liked by everyone you date.

Happy 3rd birthday Seeing Other People!!!!!!
3 years of being vulnerable on the internet. 3 years of facing fears. 3 years of finding myself. 3 years of connecting with each of you. 3 homes Iâve recorded from (a lot more attempts at finding backdrops).
Itâs crazy to think that when I started Seeing Other People, I thought I was so lost. Little did I know, I was making a giant step forward in the process of finding myself. To say Iâve grown and pushed myself out of my comfort zone because of SOP would be the biggest understatement of all time, and I wouldnât want it any other way.
Iâm so grateful for every single episode, every listener, every dm and email. Iâm grateful for the pinch me moments. Iâm grateful for the opportunities that have scared the living s**t out of me, and Iâm grateful that so many of you have found comfort and strength from SOP. I have too, in massive ways.
I always tell people one of the coolest things about this podcast is that throughout it, while learning from expert guests and commiserating with unfiltered guests, you also get to hear a personal journal of my relationship, going from hopelessly single to finding my person and growing individually and together.
I got let go from Hinge in November of 2020. I launched Seeing Other People on January 3rd, 2021. Jake and I matched on January 12th. Our first date would be February 8th, 2021. Chills.
The past three years have been nothing short of magical. I canât wait to see whatâs next.

50 classes this year.
50 times showing up for myself, even on days where I didnât think I could. 50 times putting my phone down and picking my head up. 50 times pushing my limits and building mental and physical strength. 50 times ending a class with burpees and being surprised at how much I didnât hate them. 50 times being shocked and proud that I made it there.
Thank you to every instructor for cheering me on and motivating me to come back class after class & shoutout to every friend who has let me drag them to a class.
