London will move into England’s highest tier of coronavirus restrictions from Wednesday, MPs have been told.
Parts of Essex and Hertfordshire are also reported to be entering tier three.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is expected to make a statement in the Commons shortly.
The tier three restrictions would see pubs and restaurants forced to close except for takeaway services.

Sylhet morning desk Leaders of the Jagannathpur British Bangla Education Trust have protested, claiming that Nurul Karim, a former trustee of the organization, is running a propaganda campaign against it. They protested at a press conference at the Sylhet Press Club on Tuesday. Jagannathpur British Bangla Education Trust Vice Chairman read a written statement. Sanawar Chowdhury.

In a written statement. Sanawar Chowdhury said the Jagannathpur British Bangla Education Trust, formed from scratch, has been working to improve the quality of education in Jagannathpur Upazila. The organization has been providing scholarships to the students for the last 20 years for the expansion of education in the upazila. He said that the expelled trustee Nurul Karim was lying about this organization. In 2015, he filed a lawsuit against the trust. Which was later proved false by the court. The trust later unanimously expelled him.

He said the Jagannathpur British Bangla Education Trust did not receive Rs 25 million from the Bangladesh government through Planning Minister MA Mannan. Received 1 crore 25 lakh rupees. Which was deposited in the account of Jagannathpur British Bangla Education Trust at Exim Bank Jagannathpur Branch. This money is being spent on the construction of a resource center whose construction is in its final stages. Sanawar also mentioned in the press conference that the construction work of the resource center was supervised by the local executive officer.

Referring to Nurul Karim's statement on land, Sanawar said Hasnat Ahmed Chunu had donated 4 per cent of the land to the trust and the remaining 10 per cent had been jointly purchased through the trust and trustees Anwar Ali, Mujibur Rahman Mujib and M Hossain. Regarding the allegation that the organization had taken a loan of Tk 1 crore from five trustee banks, Sanawar said the information was completely false because in 2010 SI Azad Ali was the president of Jagannathpur British Bangla Education Trust, Junaid Ahmed was the general secretary and Abdus Shahid was the treasurer.

Sanawar also said at the press conference that Nurul Karim did his best to thwart the distribution of scholarships worth Tk 25 lakh to poor meritorious students in Bangladesh this year. Fortunately, 10 to 15 trustees were stationed in the country at that time, so an emergency meeting was held to thwart his humble attempt to get a resolution. Planning Minister MA Mannan was the chief guest at the award ceremony. JBBET's selected treasurer Abdul Halim was temporarily expelled by the trust's EC committee for being involved with Nurul Karim for disrupting the scholarship program. Abdul Halim and Nurul Karim were also mentioned in the press conference as uncles and nephews. Sanawar alleged that Nurul Karim and Abdul Halim had engaged in various propaganda against the trust in retaliation for their expulsion. He said that Nurul Karim was the owner of various businesses anonymously. One of his businesses was called 'Anish-Deichna'. He has cheated different people in different ways and is currently fleeing from London and staying in Bangladesh.

Sanawar said Nurul Karim is not one of the 14 founding trustees of the trust. He later became a trustee.

There are allegations that Nurul Karim is constructing a building in Ishaqpur by embezzling the land of mosque and madrasa and a case is pending against him. Nurul Karim was caught at the Sylhet airport due to illegal fraud, money laundering and human trafficking and was jailed, he said at the press conference. Sanawar Chowdhury.

Noting that Nurul Karim's allegation of money laundering was not true, Sanawar said the truth was that all the money had been deposited in Islami Bank from the UK and the country for the sole fee of the trustees. There is no chance of any money coming from outside without fee and there is no chance of going again. So the question of money laundering does not arise. And 1 crore 25 lakh rupees has been deposited in the account of the trust through the check of the government of Bangladesh and there is proof of this.

He said Nurul Karim has been repeatedly defeated in various elections for the posts of treasurer, secretary and chairman of the trust. To avenge the defeat, Hasnat came to the country in 2015 and filed a case against Chunu, NH Lala Mia, F Rahman and the bank manager.

The press conference was attended by MM Noor, Founder Senior Vice Chairman and current Chairman of the Trust, Mahib Chowdhury, Founder Secretary, SI Azad Ali, Founder Treasurer, Sajjad Mia MBE, former Chairman and Golam Mortuza, the first Bengali Mayor. Chowdhury, current secretary Hasnat Ahmad Chunu, current senior vice chairman Ekhlashur Rahman, member NH Lala Miah, former secretary Mujibur Rahman Mujib, current treasurer Jaglu Mia. They all protested against Nurul Karim's lies.

Mentioning that there is an opportunity to take action under the Digital Security Act for defamation and propaganda through social media for these defamatory activities of Nurul Karim, the officials of the organization said that if the violence and propaganda against this traditional trust is not stopped, action will be taken soon.

মক্কা মুকাররামার হযরত সায়্যিদ মুহাম্মদ আব্দুল্লাহ আল-আয়দুরুস ছাহেবের ইন্তেকাল।
তাঁর হঠাৎ এ চলে যাওয়া প্রথমে বিশ্বাস করতে কষ্ট হয়েছে, খবর নিয়ে বিভিন্ন সুত্রে নিশ্চিত হয়ে হৃদয় জুড়ে এক কষ্টের ধাক্কা অনুভব করলাম। এইতো গত বছর ১৬/১৭ জানুয়ারি আকস্মিক তিনি ফুলতলীতে তাশরিফ নিয়ে এসে আমাদেরকে আপ্লুত করেছিলেন, আজ বছর ঘুরে আসার আগেই তাঁকে হারাতে হলো। মৃত্যু যে কারো যেকোনো সময় আসতে পারে,তবে এররকম আকস্মিক ইন্তেকাল হৃদয় মাঝে কষ্টের ঢেউ তুলে, শায়খের এ আকস্মিক ইন্তেকাল আমাদের জন্যে এক মহান শিক্ষা। তিনি গত বৎসর যখন ফুলতলীতে যান, তখন আমাদের ঘরের আমরা পাঁচজন ভাই সেখানে উপস্থিত ছিলাম, পরিচয় পেয়ে খুব আপ্লুত হয়ে বারবার আমাদের ওয়ালিদ মুহতারাম এর কথা বলছিলেন -"শায়খ নজমুদ্দীন প্রথম আমাকে ফুলতলীর কথা, ফুলতলী শায়খের কথা বলেছিলেন,তিনির মাধ্যমে আমি বাংলাদেশের এ শায়খের (ফুলতলী ছাহেব) কথা জানতে পেরেছি"
কিভাবে এ পরিচয় ঘটলো তিনি আনন্দের সাথে সেটা বারবার বলছিলেন।
সারাটি সময় তাঁর চেহারা উদ্ভাসিত ছিলো, মুখে মুচকি হাসি লেগেছিলো, সফরের ক্লান্তি,কষ্ট তাঁর মাঝে টের পাইনি।
মহান আল্লাহ তাঁকে জান্নাতের উচ্চ মাকাম দান করে দরজা বুলন্দ করে দিন, আমিন।
Imam Shaykh Sayid Muhammad Al-Aidaroos, Makkah tul Mukaramah (Student of Shaykh Sayid AlAlawi Makki) has sadly passed away.
