This 3 part series about the worldwide church, La Luz Del Mundo, was interesting and sad. But within the first 15 minutes of the first part, one of the ex church members said that the belief was that this one man (at least until he died. Then it was his son and then his grandson) was the chosen one and to get to God, people had to go through him. I knew then this would go bad...and it did...

Phenomenal doc about the creation of and the people behind the creation of Sesame Street. Before it was ever on TV, incredible effort was given to find out how children learn and how the program could be relatable especially to children of color. If you're an educator, parent or grew up on the show, you have to see this!

Starts a little slow, but true crime lovers will enjoy seeing how the detectives worked the case and were able to link clues and evidence together over time. You will not learn a lot about the Night Stalker as a person because this series' focus is more on the story of the survivors and the officers assigned to the case. Warning: They did not hold back on the actual crime scene photos

My wife and I agreed that because of those interviewed and the "information" being given, it seemed like this 2-Part HBO Doc would be more fitting for a posthumous release. My general takeaway: Children will generally follow the lead of their parents... My personal takeaway: There is an ever present connection between a father and son. Not talking about the relationship, because those are all different. But even absent of a relationship, there's always a connection...

It's 1944. It's Alabama. It's difficult to watch. But on a brighter note, you may pick up on some things you didn't know...

There are some real life heroes in this story who stand tall and tell the truth even when faced with danger and death. You'll have to read some subtitles if you don't speak Spanish, but it's well worth it to honor and learn about the circumstances surrounding the murder of Bishop Juan Gerardi in Guatemala

Somehow, I missed this! Never heard the story of MOVE, but it was interesting. Unfortunately, these stories seem to all end the same - the "government" comes in and violence ensues and there's always a debate about which side started it. The subsequent court hearings and sentencing were just ridiculous
