Olumide Onakoya, the former Nigeria chairman, managing director of mobil oil Nigeria plc has advised retirees and those intending to ritiree should consider their spouse business as one good investment to put all energy in when planning for retirement.
Onakoya, who retired at age 57 said his 15 years post active working experience has taught him to see such decisions as a good one and it always pays off. He challenged retirees to learn how to shun family members when necessary and have discipline.
The chemical engineer made this known during a symposium organized by CMC foundation. Curated for cure foundation, is an NGO focusing on children's welfare and less privilege in the society ,organized the symposium to sensitise all Nigerians about life and retirement.

Recall that a seven-storey building collapsed around past 3pm yesterday in Banana Island,an Area of Lagos
Journalists seeking to visit the collapsed site of the seven-storey building have been denied access to the Estate .
The reporters from various media houses including The PUNCH, Channels TV, TVC, Arise, Guardian and others, have been asked to wait outside the estate gate.
Most of the Journalists told Newsmen that they have been waiting for over two hours.
Reacting to the reason behind the action, the estate management said, โThey donโt want hoodlums to gain access into the estate in order to forestall breakdown of law and order.
The management, however, provided a tent for the waiting journalists
Home Away media had earlier reported that Mukaila Sanusi, Deputy Director, Public Affairs, Lagos State government has said that the building is not approved by the government.
Banana Island is one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in Nigeria, home to some of the wealthiest people in the country. Access to the estate can not be gained without getting an access code from a resident.
