EVER HEARD OF CONGEE? WHY IT’S MAGIC (RECIPE INCLUDED BELOW)

Craving a cozy and super easy recipe that will nourish your postpartum body and even boost milk production?

Meet, Congee.

A Traditional Chinese Medicine recipe that is oftenused to support mothers as they move through the postpartum period.

Ingredients:

1 Cup White rice

7-8 Cups of water and broth as preferred

1 Tsp grated fresh ginger

Splash of sesame oil

A generous pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

Combine all in a pressure cooker or slow cooker.

If you are using a pressure cooker, set pressure on high and set time for 30 minutes.

When done, add more salt as needed, scallions, wakame flakes, chicken, or nothing at all!
