Griffin Thompons Newborn Video
I got the chance to document this new family a couple of weeks ago. Veronica wanted to document this special and fleeting newborn time in their family. I like to capture a newborn in the arms of their parents rather than wrapped up in a basket. I want the parents to remember what it was like to hold their baby in their arms, how small his hands were, how cute his toes are, and those little sleepy baby smiles.
This client “just wanted some family pictures.” I knew adding a video would capture so much more. The love for their baby just oozes out of them and it was so fun to capture. Mom said “I love that the video captures our little family in such a cute way! We will have this memory forever to show Isabella when she is older. The video was such a great idea because it captures much more than a picture!” (side note, they got some really great photos too I'll be sharing soon 😁)

This was a fast and furious photo shoot trying to keep up with this curious little girl. Hanlon was turning 3 and her parents wanted to capture her funny, entertaining, and quirky personality. We got it all and then some. Her mom said: “I love how the video captures Hanlon just being herself. It highlights her personality and being happy and carefree. I honestly never would have requested a video, but this 30 second clip captures so much more than pictures could! I’m happy that I will have this moment in time forever.”

Time passes way too quickly, and before you know it your babies have changed completely and you want to remember what it was like when they were little.
I asked Mandy what moments she wanted to last forever and she responded: Saturday mornings in bed drinking milk and coffee with her family and making pancakes.
It's the small things we are going to miss.
