Season Two Episode Four: When the teacher won't say her name
Last week, footage of a teacher at Pebblebrook High School, in Mableton GA flooded the internet when a principal declared the day Breanna Tayor Day. A science teacher during a class period took it upon herself to speak to her students about how it was Breanna Taylor's fault for her being murdered, how knowing "criminals" with guns is a form of asking for you to be shot. In this 2 minute video, Susan McCoy spewed lie are lie to a group of Black and Brown students even after they took the time to correct her. Well, now it is time for us to have a conversation about what was said and how we get to work on protecting our youth.
