We will not be hosting music or releasing any episodes and we apologize.
Due to the lack of submissions and the difficulty it has been to contact artists we have decided to let go of the idea that Remote Listening was.
We wish everyone involved good luck with their endeavors and encourage them to keep doing what they do best, being creative. .

The question we get a lot is when will my music air on your podcast? Well back when we were in full swing it took about a week or two after we received it. Right now we are having difficulty reaching out, the digital landscape has changed a bit in the last 5 years. We ask that perhaps you can help us find more artists, artists that may not have a place to post their music because it might be too strange or not mainstream enough for other outlets. Or maybe they just are not famous enough. Artists that are just starting out or are stuck in quarantine still or just too old to play out but artists who have that strange spark artist like the ones we featured in our 8th episode that you can listen to here https://soundcloud.com/remotelistening/ep-8

How to submit music.
First, make sure it is in mp3 format. Sorry but it saves space on our limited hard drive and is quicker to download.
If the mp3 is labeled even better.
Include your name ( or alias ) or band name.
A link to your preferred website where others can listen to your work.
If you do not have one that is ok. Tell us where you are from, you do not have to include your actual address but a city, state, province, and or country would be great. The moon counts as well if you want to remain anonymous. Finally, tell us about yourself and something about your track like how it was made the inspiration, or whatever you feel is relevant.

Greetings.
We would like to invite you to submit your music to our podcast Remote Listening.
We offer a venue to the strange and unusual music hidden on the internet. The bedroom producers, the collage artists, the experimental. The lof fi hip hop mixers. The electronic noise makers.
They all have a place here. We offer a spot for the people who make music outside of the top 40 radio stations that play the same music day in and out.
To submit please send a track or tracks to [email protected] in mp3 format. Please include your name, band or project name if you prefer, a link to your preferred website that you use to host your music, a brief bio, your location( this does not have to be specific, example California USA or Bakersfield Ca USA is fine or even Mars Milky Way if you like to remain mysterious.), tell us about your track, what inspired it, what instruments did you use, when was it made, or any other details you would like to share.
For examples of what we choose to host you can check out an episode from our first go around here
https://soundcloud.com/remotelistening
We do lean heavy on electronic music, however we will host other genres.
