If you know me or if you’ve heard me say that I am just so burnt out on church that waking up on a Sunday with church being the first thought on my mind is absolutely non existent.

Well guess what? Today I am excited to go to church.
I will be there in support of today’s Peaceful Protest. Today I stand with those whose have been silenced. Today is the day we will definitely be seen.

I may not have obtained a lot of Bible in my 21 years at FBC, but what I do remember is…

Jesus never hid from a wounded crowd.
As my sister told me last night He also ministered to those who were hurt and broken hearted.

Today, differences will be put aside and we will all stand together. 🖤 Elena

If you haven’t heard by now, we are taking a break for the holidays.

We ended season 1 with our Premie Awareness episode. If you haven’t listened, now’s your time to go listen. Our host Jazmin talks about her and her daughter Charlottes journey in the NICU and you don’t wanna miss it.

As you guys know the holidays can be hectic, so we are taking this time to take a break, and focus our time on family. We will be back next year with season 2.

This Monday we have a 2 part episode on The Rejects Table coming out. We have a special guest and we open up about our miscarriage and infertility stories. It’s a sweet, funny yet touching and vulnerable couple of episodes.

We wanna let you know if you are 1 in 4 , we see you, we feel you and we know. 🖤

October is pregnancy/infant loss awareness month. 1 in 4 women will experience pregnancy loss. That’s too many. Too many women who have to suffer this heartache. You are seen. Your feelings are valid and how you cope is nobodies business. I’m not ashamed to say I am 1 in 4 anymore. Thankful for the support team I have around me and all the loving people I have had in my life throughout this healing process. It’s okay to be sad and to scream and yell, but it’s also okay to be happy and find joy in life after loss. Loss makes you love harder, love more, love selflessly. Loss teaches you that life is never promised. Loss teaches you anxiety. Loss gives you anxiety. But loss also makes you stronger. It teaches you that you can go on to be okay, to cope. It’s okay to not be okay. Some days are easier than others. Some days a toddler in the store, the age yours should be, smiles at you, and it hits you really hard and you cry all the way home. Grief comes in waves. Better days will come.
