"Lovesick" is the 6th release by Seattle-based duo Biddadat. It is an EP with 6 tracks, although I believe the first 2 should be played together, the title track along with "Pretend". We also liked "Be That Way". It's alternative, electronica, danceable, and on the song "Grind" it gets a bit funky.

Another album I wanted to get to before the end of the year. "Crimes Of The City" by Ian Blurton's Future Now. Well known as a producer, he knows heavy Rock. Favourite tracks - "Cast Away The Stones" and "In Broken Lines". 10 tracks of guitar driven power rock.

Near the end of the year I seem to always have a long list of albums to catch up to. This is one. "Pathways" by Julian Taylor. Another fine roots album. Allison Russell guests on the title track. Love the electric guitar on "Sixth Line Road" and the rock 'n blues vibe of "Running Away".

Released in October, "MP3" is the third studio album by Toronto-based Madame Psychosis. There's 10 tracks here which run from hard-hitting alt-rock tracks, to pop-rock tunes and also some introspective moments. Compare "Revolution" to "Lucky" and then "Nightmares". The band excels at all three.
