This morning we went for a Christmas walk and Gav (the swan whisperer) found a swan in the middle of the road, refusing to move for the people trying to help it. Gav went over and had a quiet word in its ear, next thing the swan has joined us on our walk! 😂
These little buggers finally made it over the frozen marina to see us tonight.😍 They have been on an adventure today and locked out onto the river with a fishing boat and went for a day out down the Tyne. They came back this afternoon and were patiently waiting by the lock gates. They had their own special lock in just for them! ❤️🦢

As soon as we arrived this lovely swan came over to welcome us to her marina. She’s been back serveral times to see if we are settling in ok and if there’s anything we need, she even brought her husband this afternoon! They’ve both eaten us out of house and home 😂
Making friends with nature is one of our favourite things about cruising!
This is when we had just entered the lock at Hartlepool and waiting for the water level to rise so we could get into the Marina.
We finally made it out of Whitby yesterday and have now arrived at Hartlepool Marina. We got the 8:30am bridge out of Whitby and had a great sail up. Keep an eye out for our next YouTube video to find out why we were in Whitby for so long.
