| | Update on Baltimore City EMT/Firefighter McMaster who is recovering at Shock Trauma after suffering burns and two leg injuries during a triple fatal fire on South Stricker Street. Four firefighters were trapped inside a vacant home when it collapsed Monday morning. Three of those firefighters died fighting the blaze. A fourth survived with serious injuries. Chief Ford issued a brief statement saying John McMaster is awake; his condition has also been upgraded to fair.

Today, Lt. Paul Butrim, FF Kelsey Sadler & FF Kenny Lacayo lost their lives in service to our city. FF John McMaster remains in the hospital in critical but stable condition. We will continue to pray for the family of those we lost.

and Kenny Lacayo, a firefighter and EMT | City officials are asking the community to keep the first responder community in their prayers tonight. When asked why the crew was inside a vacant home, Chief Ford say responding crews "made a decision, that was a vacant home, the adjacent address was not. So they made the determination that they could control the fire and put it out."

| Serious House Fire | Reported around 6am, has been on the scene of a two alarm fire in a *vacant home in the 200blk of S. Sticker St.

One firefighter was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Fire official say, “We are working to rescue two additional Firefighters inside.” The firefighters reportedly transmitted a “Mayday” reporting entrapment.

Sad news from Hollywood and the music industry, singer/actor Meat Loaf has died at the age of 74. This was announced by his family.

Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday; September 27, 1947 – January 20, 2022), better known as Meat Loaf, was an American singer and actor.

He was noted for his powerful, wide-ranging voice and theatrical live shows. His Bat Out of Hell trilogy—Bat Out of Hell, Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell, and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose—has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide.
