We had a spectacular time at the 72 Film Fest this past weekend! 🎥🔥 So many great films shared the stage at the ICONIC Weinberg theater! EVERY film we watched poured their heart and souls into their creation with the given obstructions! They were all so fun to watch! We were truly honored to have ECHOCASTER selected for the finalist block, nominated for best cinematography, and WINNER of the Audience Choice for best acting! SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We have talked with other local filmmakers in possibly bringing back a screening night to build a community of creatives…That time is now! 🎥 Black Fox Pictures and Falling Squares present: Movie Knight! We want to screen movies from local filmmakers and have discussions in a place that would feel just as good as home! We want people to feel proud of their work and be able to screen it to family, friends, and other movie lovers! With the help of this wonderful town, creative minds, and hard working people, we feel Movie Knight will be a ton of fun to add to this amazing community! We will have more information as to where to submit and our first screening in the coming days! Stay tuned! 🎬

We are overjoyed to announce a new partnership between Falling Squares and Black Fox Pictures! This will hopefully be the start of something much bigger, as we welcome more creatives into our newly renovated Fredericktowne Players studio space. We are excited to take part in strengthening and building the film community in downtown Frederick. Stay tuned to see our first fully collaborative film, coming out this Halloween!
