Is 223/556 enough for pigs? This hog drops from a 55gr FMJ round then gets up and runs off. I’ve shot bigger pigs and one round was enough, and I’ve put 2-3 into piglets before they finally gave up. - That being said this next hunt I’ll be running some 77gr BTHP match ammo just to mix things up. It’ll do before I find a 308 I pull the trigger on.
