It's a known fact that a person should be engaged in something in order to achieve self-realization. Even if you win the lottery and instantly get a couple of million dollars 💰
Everyone wants to fulfill their goals and dreams!
To be happy at work (and in life), you need to identify your strengths and understand which occupation suits you the best. You may even have to change your profession to accomplish that!
If you are not ready to change your profession yet, keep these three tips in mind on how to feel better with your existing job:
🤝 Don’t make impossible promises
Tasks with unrealistic deadlines are a terrible source of stress. Take a good estimate of your capabilities before taking on such a task. Also, make sure you actively monitor and execute existing assignments in order to do the work on time and have less reasons to worry.
🚀 Make a plan for your personal development
The world is changing rapidly, and in order to succeed, you need to be ready to adapt to surrounding circumstances and, at times, be prepared to go with the flow.
Try answering such questions: «How can my work improve? Should something about what I am currently doing change? What can I learn at my current position? What will I be able to do in 5 years time?» An updated course of action will never be superfluous!
🎯 Take productive breaks
The purpose of taking a break is to switch up what you're doing and give your brain a rest. Schedule a few 15-min breaks throughout your working day in order to do something different – push-ups, walking around the room, reading a chapter from your book, meditating, going outside, etc. There are a lot of options! The main thing is to stop looking at the screen, at least for a while! Just try not to go over 15-min per break, so that you can easily return to your tasks at hand with increased productivity!
Be productive! Skyeng ❤️
