800th Milestone Platinum trophy

1st Platinum trophy of the year and a milestone at the same time

I love the game's dark gothic theme with the usual "danger is just around the corner" vibes

This decade old game is a masterpiece! They introduced a unique way of parrying which is by shooting your enemy with a gun right before they hit you with their attack. Mastering this mechanic and applying it on boss fights is so satisfying 💪

I'm on a mission to reach 1k Platinum trophy this year and every 100th plat, I will play a fromsoft game. Let's do this 🔥

My 2024 Christmas entry 🎄🎁

•PROs
-I got lucky because CDPR decided to roll out the 2.2 patch while I was playing the game and was able to utilize the Crystalcoat and TWINTONE features (Change your vehicle color on the go), it's very helpful when you're being chased by NCPD, scavs or whatnot

-Phantom Liberty not just added a small accessible portion to NC but it also opened up a lot of possibilities tied in with your in-game decisions (More endings)

-The story is very well written and played by the actors and one of 'em is Idris Elba (I won't consider this as a spoiler, you've probably seen him in the trailers and it's a 2 year old DLC )

•CONs
-Except for the usual vehicles dropping in the sky when you summon them and bartenders serving up invisible drinks, everything is all good in da hood

If you haven't played this gem yet, now is the time. Get the base + DLC physical copy.. It's totally worth it. It's that good! 🔥

My first PS Portal Plat 😁

Gusto ko lang sana itry yung portal sa Isang light and fun game tulad netong Secret of Mana (I was wrong) 😅

The game itself is easy and fun if you won't get the platinum trophy for it but if you decide to, bring 4 kilos of patience because the grind for rare drops is a pain in the behind. There is also magic grind for both magic users (boring af but if you do it in the wind palace, it's a bit easier)

A faithful remake of the OG SNES game.

It's still free in the PS Plus catalog if you want to give this game a shot 🔥

I still have Legends and Adventures until I complete my Mana plat hunt 🏆

It's been a very inactive few months in this channel due to a lot of priorities that need to be done and attended to. But... We'll always have to make time for a Christmas Special.

Zero Hour Discussions will return on December 15 to watch and breakdown on of the most iconic action films of the 80s and what placed Bruce Willis in the radar, DIE HARD (1988). We'll be watching the movie, reflecting on our opinions about it since the last time we watched it, and enjoy the company of friends.

"I Just Want The World To Know I Was Here. That I Mattered." - V

• VISUALS
PS5 ver. is an eye candy. The visuals are so good that it looks better than some AAA games that released this year (probably still looks better in the PC ver. but hey..)

• GAMEPLAY
I'm not huge fan of first person shooters but this game piqued my interest when I first saw the 2.0 ver. (which looks like a totally different game, in a good way 🔥) and the Phantom Liberty DLC. I thought it looks like Ghostrunner and I'm a huge fan of GR. Para syang hybrid ng GTA, GR na may RPG elements. Sabi ko, I think now is the best time to play this game Hanggang sa nalimutan ko na sya and naimbak sa bucket list ko kaya natagalan bago ko sya nalaro 😅

• STORY
The story is fuggin awesome! Multiple endings tas madame dialogue option that can affect the story or can just get you an extra scene etc. The only thing I hate is if you aim for the plat, you have to have s*x with someone with same gender (kung straight ka, off yon) dapat optional to e pero it is what it is

I really enjoyed this game and nagsisi ako bat ngayon ko lang sya nilaro, kung ngayong year narelease to, goty contender ko to hehe (It's that good) 😁

A huge shout out to JD Dimla Jr. sa pagpapahiram mo ng physical copy neto. Super worth it tong game na to 🔥

Huge Ys fan here since NES-SNES days. I got the platinum trophy for Ys X last year when the JP ver. came out and I just had to get it since I know that it’ll take more than a year before they release the ENG ver. and boy was I right lol. Getting both the JP and ENG ver. is totally worth it 👌

•BEAUTY IN SIMPLICITY
Ys is one of those games where you don’t have to think too much about your build etc. It’s simple enough that you just sit back, relax and stroll through the story or sidequests etc. It’s simple but balanced especially on higher difficulties

•MUSIC
NIS-FALCOM is known to have awesome music in almost all of their games 🔥

•DUO
This time, you just play as Adol and Karja instead of having a party of 6 or more. Less managing and more hacking n’ slashing

•FLASHY MOVES
Battle is never dull, from single player skills to duo finishers, you will surely have a good time leveling up skills and unlocking all of them 🔥

•SEA EXPLORATION
You will spend most of your time on a boat exploring the Obelia gulf with the occasional Island hopping 😅

If you’re Ys fan, don’t skip this. It’s definitely worth getting 🔥
