Incredibly sad news today 😢

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our beloved founder and chairman Peter Usborne CBE. Peter passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by his family.

Peter was an exceptional publisher, an inspirational leader and a lovely man. He will be incredibly missed by his family and everyone here at Usborne.

Nicola Usborne, Peter’s daughter and Usborne’s managing director said “My dad always felt that he’d had the absolute best life, and that publishing for children for 50 years was the greatest privilege he could imagine.”

📚 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📚

After 2 amazing years, I’ve decided that the time has come to take a step back from Usborne. 😢 I love the books and most importantly, I love my wonderful, loyal customers. But life is just too busy at the moment for me to give my little business the time it needs and deserves.

I’m ALWAYS here for help & advice, I have plenty of stock at home and my order books remains open for those wanting to purchase anything but my posts will be less frequent going forward.

Thank you so so much for your support and loyalty over the past 2 years - I’ve loved helping you find the perfect books for your families & friends. You know where I am if you need me! 🥰
