NOON, umabot na sa puntong nakaupo na lamang sa damuhan ang mga pasahero sa Siquijor Airport sa Central Visayas, dahil luma, makipot, at napag-iwanan na ng panahon ang mga pasilidad nito. Sa katunayan, sampung (10) pasahero lamang ang kayang maserbisyuhan ng terminal nito.

Upang mabigyang buhay ang Siquijor Airport, minabuti po ng DOTr at CAAP na simulan, at agarang tapusin ang development at improvement project dito.

Ngayon, garantisadong SEAMLESS, COMFORTABLE, at CONVENIENT NA ang travel experience ng ating mga kababayan, at nasa 60 pasahero na rin ang kaya nitong ma-accommodate!

Mayroon na pong bagung-bagong Passenger Terminal Building ang airport, Powerhouse, at Vehicular Parking Area. Ang mga ito ay opisyal na nating pasisinayaan bukas, 26 August 2021.

Latest List of Public Transport Modes Available in ECQ [As of August 3, 2021]

Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Art Tugade said that the current public transport supply and capacity will be retained in the National Capital Region (NCR) during the imposition of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 to August 20.

The latest Omnibus Guidelines approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) have allowed the continued operation of public transportation, at such capacity and supply as recommended by the DOTr.

Secretary Tugade, however, stressed that only Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs) as identified by the IATF-EID will be accommodated by public transport services.
