PURSUE HAPPINESS LIKE A CHILD
Finding happiness can look more difficult than it seems in the real sense. We need to go for the things that will guarantee our happiness. How then can we pursue happiness like a child?
Kids have curiosity to learn and explore new ideas. They enjoy having fun and love happiness. Kids are very inquisitive about everything that goes on around them every moment in time. They live in the
moment by not worrying about what will happen tomorrow or in the nearer future even when they mess up or look stupid, they turn it into moment of happiness. Like kids, we must not seek perfection
but for the purpose of achieving our goals and dreams. Kids like to follow their instincts, enjoy every moment with greater appreciation, like kids give appreciation to the giver of all things, God. Take risks, seek opportunities and follow your own passion.
Happiness depends on many factors such as personal values, life purpose, family relationships, state of your health, and other environmental factors. According to researchers, happiness has been divided into two components which are HEDONIC AND EUDAIMONIC happiness. Hedonic happiness is a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction that arises from positive experiences and emotions derived from pleasurable activities, it is influenced by external factors. Eudaimonic happiness is the sense of meaning and purpose in life. Both types of well-being have been shown to have positive effects on physical and
mental health.Therefore, like a child, focus on being happy irrespective of the challenges and difficulties life presents
us. Keep pushing, striving to fulfil those unique goals and dreams. Happy is the man that finds wisdom,
and the man that gets understanding (Psalms 3:13).
