OKC Homeless Crisis

Downtown Oklahoma City, observed a gentleman smoking m**h out of a glass pipe. Spoke to two other gentleman that said they were from Haiti and we’re homeless And had recently walked across the border. Friends the homeless crisis in Oklahoma City is manufactured, with the legislation and the ordinances that have been passed by our local politicians and our city Council and our mayor that are destroying Oklahoma City from within. Very soon you will see these politicians wanting to expand our local government to take care of this problem when they are in fact the ones That caused this problem. We are going down the road of San Francisco, Portland, Chicago and LA. All hard drugs are now a misdemeanor, ordinances have been passed to allow camping anywhere the homeless decide they want to pitch a tent. Understand this is not the homeless peoples fault, this is our local politicians Turning their backs on the mentally ill and they will say they need more money to fight this problem to expand the government. Folks we need to take the blinders off and actually see who is creating this problem. So please call your legislators call your mayors office voice your concern in a Spirit of kindness before we lose Oklahoma City to these disastrous policies.

Did you know that our local Government is OK with this happening to Oklahoma City and surrounding areas? Did you know that the legislation and ordinances passed by our city Council have doomed Oklahoma City? Did you know that recently laws were passed to drop all hard drug charges to misdemeanor offenses? Did you know that ordinances were passed by our city council which allows the homeless to pitch tents and sleep in city parks and on the sides of city streets and in our neighborhoods? Did you know that we don’t extradite people with multiple arrest warrants in other states? If they don’t have local city warrants, they are allowed to sleep in our neighborhoods. Did you know that homeless s*x offenders can now register their address at any intersection in Oklahoma City? Did you know that the police department has been told not to arrest the homeless for public nudity, open drug use, defecation etc.? Did you know that all of this is preventable? Did you know the ordinances and legislation just mentioned in this paragraph were all passed in Portland and in San Francisco? If this is what you want for Oklahoma City, then don’t pick up the phone and call your local legislators or your mayors. This can be fixed before it’s too late. Call your legislators and voice your concern about what is happening to Oklahoma City in a kind and respectful manner. Please don’t be scared to voice your concerns. Remember, it’s not a homeless epidemic. It’s a mental health epidemic and our politicians have turned their backs on the weakest among us. Please share.

This is our city, this is our city being Destroyed. Please somebody tell me how this is good for our city and the people that are the weakest among us living in the dirt. This should not be tolerated by our politicians. Please with respect and love for our city reach out to your legislators, city Council, mayors office and the police department. Voice your concern over the outdoor drug use, public nudity and defecation on our streets.

Did you know that our city Council and mayors office drop All hard drugs in Oklahoma City to Misdemeanors. this picture was taken yesterday and the police were called nobody was arrested nobody was searched. Folks if we don’t get serious about who is running our city we will absolutely turn into San Francisco, and Portland we are slowly losing our city to liberal woke politics, as we all sit back and watch our city being destroyed because everyone is too scared to speak up.

As you Drive through Oklahoma City i’m sure you have seen scenes like this becoming more prevalent,  there has been legislation and ordinances put in place from our city Council and legislators that are allowing the distraction of our city. please let your voice be heard in a Spirit of kindness to your legislators and your city Council member. Folks if we don’t stand up and stop this, Are City will become a Chicago, San Francisco, Portland etc. And remember this is not a homeless issue it is a mental illness issue and a corruption of our local government.

This is in a Okc neighborhood, Our city Council has set up ordinances that will turn our city in to Portland, San Francisco etc. please call your city Council member to voice your concern (Please be kind) of these ordinances that allow this to happen in our neighborhoods.

This is the pilot recreation center and park, it has turned into A homeless encampment, If anyone else Is tired of our local government wasting our tax money, Please call police, legislators or the mayor’s office. Please be respectful when making those phone calls and voice your concern. Just ask questions about why this has not been cleaned up in well over a month of people calling.

If you notice our city being taken over by the homeless, it’s not the homeless peoples’ fault. It’s our state legislators and the policies in place. Kay Floyd represents district 46 which includes the highest population of homeless people in Oklahoma City. Please call her office 405-521-5610 and voice your concern over this avoidable homeless crisis. Use kindness and respect and encourage a spirit of cooperation. This a bipartisan issue. Please don't make it personal to the legislators. If we get enough people to call and voice their concerns, we will start to see positive changes. Our society is only as great as the weakest among us. We all need to help the downtrodden.

This is the Pilot Center located at NW 2nd & Blackwelder. This is a city park. There is a playground in the front, it is a Boys and Girls Club owned and operated by the city. There is a play ground in the front and a bike chop shop in the back. Not too long ago the city spent a ton of money on remodeling. And now the homeless have taken it over.
