After a lot of wrestling and trimming, my new router table has been installed in the wing of the table saw. Can anyone spot the big design flaw?

I stumbled across some old footage that I never got around to editing.
I made this board as a Secret Santa present… in 2020.

I finished off this on the weekend, made from a beautiful old piece of timber donated to me by my father in law. I think I’ve done it justice!

I really tried to make sanding look interesting… but I… it just can’t be done 🤦‍♂️
These two are just about ready; only finishing touches to go. Stay tuned!

For those that have been asking; I’ve got a batch of my homemade chopping board polish ready to go out to family and friends 😁

I love a video!
It took me way too long to align all the boards because I was being lazy and couldn’t be bothered making cauls.

Putting my new feather board to work on these oak boards. I took the last one off the shelf at Perth 😆

Next step for these shelves is planing the timber to the correct thickness. After a few passes through this machine, The timber will end up with a second face which is perfectly parallel to the other.

I spent last weekend squaring up some rough-sawn American oak to make shelves for friends of mine. Great to be back in the shed.
I’ll make sure I keep you posted with the progress of this project.

There’s more than one way to cut a !
Using the is definitely the quickest method for the smaller pieces, but I had to get the out and do some for the big 3 metre lengths.

I spent today cutting hinge mortises for a project I’m working on.

I’m looking forward to revealing it once it’s done! 😏
