In 2015, Heather Saul shot and killéd Neal Falls after he tried to r**e her. Luckily she managed to grab his gun away from him and used it against him. When police arrived to investigate the shooting, they found an enormous kill kit in the deceased’s car.

They would later credit Heather with stopping an active serial k*iller.
Law enforcement investigated his background, leading the FBI to suspect his involvement in at least ten murders. Falls was identified as a suspect in a series of dismemberment murders of escorts on the Las Vegas strip from 2003 to 2007.

Sherin Matthews, a toddler adopted by Wesley Matthews, was reported missing on October 7, 2017. Matthews initially claimed she disappeared after he punished her for not drinking her milk by making her stand outside. Later, he changed his story, admitting to dumping her body after she allegedly choked on milk. Sherin had a history of abuse-related hospitalizations, and her death was ruled a homicide. Matthews was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

On July 19, 2016, 20-year-old Sierah Joughin was enjoying a peaceful early-evening bike ride toward her home in Metamora, Ohio, when she suddenly vanished.
She had visited her boyfriend, Josh; he gave her a farewell kiss and watched her ride away. Unfortunately, Sierah never made it back home. Police and local residents joined forces to conduct a major search. Several people searched the region in an effort to find the young University of Toledo student.
An ex-convict, James Worley, who resided nearby on a farm surrounded by cornfields, quickly became a prime suspect.
The police searched Worley's farmhouse and found a makeshift prison in a room. They also found lingerie, handcuffs, rope, and tape, as well as a freezer with a bloody carpet in it. The Sierah’s DNA was found on several items in the room. Three days after Sierah went missing, her body was found in a shallow grave in a cornfield.

After 33 years, Cleburne County Jane Doe is identified
On February 3, 1990, a logging crew found the skeletal remains of an unidentified female in Heflin, Alabama. She had been the victim of a homicide. The woman has now been identified as Clara Kopp Reynolds, who would have been 41 or 42 when she died and was from Georgia.
Reynolds was last seen with a male friend and thought to be traveling to Florida. Police said they do have a suspect, but they can’t release details of who that person is or the circumstances of Reynolds’ death. Did you know her?

The Unbelievable Love Story of Mary Kay and Villi Fualaau
Mary Katherine Fualaau was a 34-year-old school teacher in Burien, Washington who fell in love with her 12-year-old student, Villi Fualaau. She considered their union inseparable and fought hard to be with Fualaau.

In June 1997, they were taken to a police station after an officer caught them in Mary's car. A few months later, she was pregnant with Fualaau's daughter. She was arrested for child abuse and gave birth in May 1998, while she was awaiting sentencing.
Mary was released after serving only a three-month jail term, but she was ordered to stay away from minors, including Fualaau.
The order fell on deaf ears, as she was caught with Fualaau within two weeks of being released; she got pregnant within that short period. Mary gave birth in prison and got married to Fualaau when she finally came out of prison in 2005.

In 1989, Mark Kilroy, a student at the University of Texas, went on a spring break trip to Mexico with his friends. Unfortunately, during their time there, Mark was kidnapped and taken to a remote ranch. Tragically, he was subjected to torture and terrible abuse, which eventually led to his death in a horrifying human sacrifice ritual.

Mark's attackers used a machete to sever his head from his body. They removed his brain and boiled it in a pot. They also inserted a wire through his spinal column and amputated his legs at the knees. Along with 14 other victims, Mark was buried on the ranch.

The leader of the cult responsible for these gruesome acts believed that by doing this, they would gain immunity for their drug crimes. When the police arrived at the ranch, they discovered Mark's grave with a wire sticking out of the ground.
