Myung Urso, born and raised in South Korea and currently
residing in the USA, is an artist whose work is deeply rooted
in her Korean heritage and personal experiences. Growing up
in Okcheon, a countryside town surrounded by picturesque
mountains and rice fields, Myung’s artistic temperament was
shaped by the natural world that was always close to her. This
connection to nature, along with memories of her late mother’s
skilled hands and daily household activities, serves as an influ-
ence on her art.
