Did you know that you don't need to know ALL chords to play ALL chords?

The cool thing about guitar is that everything you play is movable.🧠

If you learn one "shape" of a chord you can slide that shape across the neck to play all the other chords.

For example: If you learn how to play an Amaj7, you can play a Bmaj7 by sliding that same shape two frets towards the bridge.

See how easy it is now???🌤

In this diagram we are sliding the "E chord shape".

On the top right we use the E major shape to play a G major chord.

On the bottom right we use the E minor shape to play a G minor chord.

If your head is about to explode just think of the difference between "shapes" VS "chords".

We use shapes to create chords and we can use one shape to create all chords💥

That blue line across all strings represents a barre played with your index finger.

Depending on where you place your index you get different chords.

You can locate these chords on the 6th string as seen on the diagram.
